My 12 favorites can’t be complete without Subscription Boxes.
Over the past few years I have tried several different ones. These are the ones I continue to go back to.
First let’s talk about RocksBox. What girl doesn’t like to get new jewelry? I’m talking about NICE jewelry from designers like Kendra Scott, House of Harlow, Perry Street & Sophie Harper to name a few.
Every time I open my goodie box from them I am always impressed. Your monthly membership fee is credited towards any items you purchase from the selection.
RocksBox allows you to wear the jewelry for a certain time period and return or purchase!
You can share your personal link to invite your friends and receive credit to spend on your favorite pieces!! Click the link to go to my RocksBox if you’d like to sign up.
When you sign up take a few minuted to complete the style survey. It’s extremely detailed and allows you to be very specific…… answer some questions about your preferred style and wait to be amazed at how your stylist selects the most perfect items for you. You can select a price category as well!!
I have linked my personal Pinterest board to my StitchFix account so that my stylist can see what my style is and if I have pinned any new things. I have received jeans, dress pants, skirts, shoes, bags, blazers, sweaters, jackets, wristlets, scarves….. I could go on and on. I have kept all of the items sent a couple times but typically I will keep one or two things. I have never been disappointed! Click the link below to go to my StitchFix site if you’d like to give it a try! Now that a men’s subscription is also offered I’m thinking I may have to sign up the hub’s!!!
I don’t know how they do it but the stylists always seem to nail it!!
For around $20 bucks a month you have a selection of items (jewelry for RocksBox & clothing &/or accessories from StitchFix) put together based on your preferences.
Either one of these subscriptions are a gift I give myself every couple of months! I love that I can put my membership on hold at my discretion.
If you don’t have an Amazon Echo you don’t get it.
This is a voice controlled, cloud -based, hands free intelligent personal assistant that also is a rockin’ speaker for your music. (You gotta have internet services to use some of her features.)
You can say things like “Alexa, play Christmas music” and she will start playing tunes from your Pandora account, Amazon Music, Spotify etc…… you can also connect to Echo with an auxiliary cable to play use as a speaker if you don’t have wi-fi.
You can ask her for the weather, today’s headlines, who won the World Series in 1987 and how many ounces are in a cup. She will set a timer and an alarm for you.
I think this is a great gift for anyone. The all new 2nd Generation Echo is around $80 but if you don’t want to rock the neighborhood or spend that much you can get by with the Echo Dot for $30.
Both models are on sale at this time and yes, you can have more than one. We have the larger 1st Generation Echo in our bedroom and a dot in our family room so we can connect to our outdoor speaker system.
You can do a little more research on your own to find out the vast number of things Echo is capable of. I hear of something new practically every week.
You can find an Echo at Bed Bath Beyond, Target, etc. We ordered from our Amazon Prime and got it in two days! *love our Prime Membership
Here are some of the things I ask our Echo daily:
Alexa, What time is it? What’s the weather? Tell me a joke. Set a timer for…. Set alarm for…. What day is Christmas? How many days until spring? Will it snow today? What are Santa’s reindeer’s names?
I’m loving the calf-hair pattern clutch trends right now. The ones I found online are gorgeous, however, I didn’t love the price.
I found the perfect solution to my likes and my issue. Yipee!!!
Check out this gorgeous clutch I ordered from GreyFoxTextiles on Etsy for under $50! AJ was so easy to work with and actually made my clutch specifically the way I wanted it , sent me pictures and then quickly shipped after my approval. I think I’ll order from her again soon!
It feels so soft and luxurious!
I receive TONS of compliments when I carry it and have shared AJ’s Etsy store every time.
Look at the gorgeous-ness 🙂
*pictures are from AJ herself, I have not been compensated in any way by GreyFoxTextiles. This post reflects my honest opinion 100%.
I have tried sooooooooooo many leggings over the years and I have been soooooooo disappointed. They have been too tight, too loose, too see through, weird material, waist too low, waist to thick…. I’m sure you have felt my pain.
These leggings I could literally live in. I’ve had them for about two weeks now and literally have worn them EVERY DAY! Not like “all day long” every day but I have changed into them upon arriving home from work and wore the heck out of them on our recent weekend getaway to New Orleans. They are perfect under a dress or long shirt or sweater and feel amazing. The high waist hits me right at the belly button. Holds everything in while not constricting things. Another bonus detail ….. flat seams are the bomb-diggity!
$52 was a little high until I put them on my body, haha. Worth every penny. I’m loving them so much I will purchase another pair from Nordstrom soon. I feel they run true to size. I fluctuate between a 4 & 6 so I got a Small.
Just go get them….. you will not be disappointed!!!
